When asked why she loved Long Beach Ally said “The reason why Long Beach is so amazing is because of the people, art, entertainment and mesh of cultures that it has. It is so unique, and is also one of the lowest real estate wise than any other beach city in California. I love to frequent the local bars, the restaurants, and I love the ocean! Long Beach really has everything you need.”
We took a stroll around 4th and Junipero where we checked out the local interior design and mom and pop shops. There were several great little stores that I will definitely be doing a full review on in the near future. Stopping by at one of my favorite little coffee houses in Long Beach called Portfolio! Simply Amazing!
We stopped by this one little store that had a “Closet” called The Free Box. What was great about the Free Box was that anyone can put items in their and they are free for the taking. If you feel the need to donate clothing or what not you can place it in here for the local community to take. Check it out! What a great way to help the community out.
Okay, so if Thai and/or Sushi is what you are craving then I would highly suggest Bai Plu on 7th St. This place is amazing! Between 11AM – 3PM they have lunch specials for only $5.95! What a deal…It comes with white rice, 2 fried wontons with dipping sauce, soup or sald, and a meat dish. For you vegetarians you can also choose tofu… Both of our meals came out to around $13 bucks! Bai Plu has 2 locations one in Long Beach located at 1626 E. 7th St. Long Beach, CA and one in Bellflower. I will share with you the sushi next time! To die for!!!
A WATER FRONT COMMUNITY ON ALAMITOS BAY IN LONG BEACH, CA

Marina Pacifica offers homeowners the luxury of 6 pools and spas, 19 acres of landscaping, a clubhouse, boat slips, a newly-renovated gym, coin operated laundry facilities, 2 reception rooms for large affairs, and the security of a gated access community with a 24-hour guard on duty. Exclusive Long Beach, California waterfront homes.” (www.marinapacificamall.com)
Sometimes after a long day at the office I like to go down to the Marina Pacific Mall to grab Jamba Juice and read some books at Barnes and Noble. I couldn’t help but take these photos of Marina Pacifica because the scenery is just so beautiful. It must be great to live ocean front like this. I don’t own a boat, but this view really makes me want to see how much one would cost to maintain. Currently there are 7 units available in this building ranging from studios to 2 bedroom units and anywhere from $199,000 to $519,900. Marina Pacifica is truly a Haute Property!
What a great place to have lunch! One of the best spots that started right here in Long Beach, CA. After getting out of the office, and trying to set up this blog I was definitely starving. My friends have pegged the word “recessionistas” since we are in a recession and we’re all trying to save some money. So, I thought to myself…hmm, what should I have for lunch. 2 thoughts came to my mind….”inexpensive” and “Mexican”… I immediately thought of Hole Mole! What beats vegetarian tacos for only $0.49 cents! I ordered 2 potato and 2 bean tacos…and it only came out to a total of $2.15! What a great deal, and oh so delicious. Check them out on my “favorite links” page or click here. They have several locations in Long Beach and a wide range of food from burritos, enchiladas, and tacos!
